- Scarlet Fever (Scarlatina)
- SYMPTOMS may include a high fever, headache, swelling of the neck gland,
- the tongue may be strawberry colored, vomiting and sore throat. The skin
- may become pinkish-red on the second day. It may be widespread or mild
- and last up to 10 days.
- CAUSES are from the streptococcal bacteria. Scarlet Fever is contagious
- from just before symptoms appear and up to 2 or 3 weeks after.
- TREATMENT
